Scholarships for MSc/PhD

Students are encouraged to apply for the following scholarships

​

  1. Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship  (for doctoral degree)

    • Target audiences: Canadian citizens, permanent residents of Canada and foreign citizens

    • Duration: 3 years (non-renewable)

    • Value: 50,000 CAD per year

    • Deadline: October 31

  2. Ontario Trillium Scholarship (for doctoral degree)

    • Target audiences: foreign citizens

    • Duration: 1 year (renewable up to 4 years)

    • Value: 40,000 CAD per year

    • Deadline: March 1

  3. Canada Graduate Scholarship – Master’s Program (for master degree)

    • Target audiences: Canadian citizens and permanent residents

    • Duration: 1 year

    • Value: 17,500 CAD per year

    • Deadline: December 1

  4. Ontario Graduate Scholarship (for doctoral degree, and master)

    • Target audiences: Canadian citizens, permanent residents of Canada and foreign citizens

    • Duration: 1 year

    • Value: 17,500 CAD per year

    • Deadline: December 1

  5. Graduate Studies Entrance Scholarships (Master or Doctoral)

    • Target audiences: Canadian citizens, permanent residents of Canada and foreign citizens

    • Duration: 1 year (renewable to 2 years)

    • Value: 3,000 CAD for Master and 4,500 for PhD per year.

  6. Graduate International Tuition Scholarship (for doctoral degree)

    • Target audiences: foreign citizens

    • Value: 12,000 per year for up to 4 years.

  7. Alexander Graham Bell Canada Graduate Scholarships – Doctoral (CGS-D) (for doctoral degree)

    • Target audiences: Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada

    • Value: 35,000 CAD per year for 2 or 3 years.

    • Deadline: October 10

  8. NSERC Postgraduate Scholarships – Doctoral (PGS-D) (for doctoral degree)

    • Target audiences: Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada

    • Value: 21,000 CAD per year for 2 or 3 years.
